During the summer of 2012, Fort Chambly invites you to two themed weekends that will take you back to the days of New France and the War of 1812.
Military encampments and demonstrations will be featured!

Visit a historic camp inside the fort. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of New France while soldiers of the Compagnies franches de la Marine and their families teach you about their daily lives. You will also have the opportunity to admire their military manoeuvres and shooting demonstrations!

The War of 1812: discover
an era!

August 11-12
Participate in the bicentennial commemorations of the War of 1812 by visiting a military camp. Mingle with the British and American troops or meet the musicians. When you hear the sound of bagpipes, the fiddle or harp, join in their dances, but don't miss the shooting demonstrations!
