The popular Victorian Christmas is back! The historic home of the Cartier family will be decked out in its most beautiful Christmas decorations.

Catch the holiday spirit in the home of the illustrious George-Étienne Cartier, father of the Canadian Confederation.
Join our costumed guides and learn about the secrets of holiday home décor in the 1860s from the master of the house and his servant!

Take advantage of your visit to the Cartier home to leave a gift that will be given to a disadvantaged child; all donations will be given to the Guignolée du Dr Julien (Only in French) fundraising campaign on Saturday, December 17. New!

In the Cartier family’s inner courtyard, the Montreal Intercultural Choir will take you into a magical world in which music, history, and winter festivities are featured!
Take part in a singing workshop accompanied by 8 choristers, who will introduce you to the basics of this artistic discipline.
The workshop will conclude with a concert presented in the back courtyard in the invigorating winter air. In the fraction of a second, you’ll become a full-fledged member of a Christmas choir with an international flair!

Storytelling Matinees The Night Before Christmas
November 20 and 27 and December 4, 11 and 18 at 11:30 a.m.
Enter the magical world of Christmas Eve with a reading of Clement Clark Moore’s famous story, The Night Before Christmas.
This story has inspired numerous illustrators and forever changed our image of the character who hands out presents to good children.
