Lachine Canal National Historic Site is open every day of the year from sunrise to 11 p.m.

Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays: 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

June 22 to September 3
Daily: 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

September 4 to October 8
Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays: 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Please take notes that time of lockages may vary. To maximize chances of being locked through, please arrive early enough to allow complete lockages in both directions.

During hours of operation, you may contact the canals personnel by VHF-Canal 68.

Transit: 3 to 5 hours
At locks 1-5, arrive at least 30 minutes before the last lockage. The floating docks are located on starboard.
