On snowshoes, on cross-country skis, on foot, on bike... get outside for a breath of fresh air and enjoy the best of what winter has to offer!

From the Gauron and Lafleur bridges to the Atwater Market, an 8-km winter trail offers a unique opportunity to discover the natural beauty of the Lachine Canal in a winter wonderland.

Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can also enjoy a groomed 6-km path from the Gauron and Lafleur bridges to the centre Gadbois to practise their favourite sport in an urban setting.

Biking under snowflakes? This winter, the City of Montreal will clear the snow from a 1-km section of the Lachine Canal path, between Richmond and Smith streets on the north side of the canal. This is a pilot project that will allow winter cycling enthusiasts to join two links of the City’s four-season bike path network.
