Lachine Canal National Historic Site
Piknic Electronik @ Lachine Canal
Second Edition
On Saturday, August 13 at 1 p.m., the public is invited to the second edition of the musical event Piknic Electronik @
Lachine Canal: a major family gathering offered free by Parks Canada which celebrates its centennial this year.
We’ll roll out the half-kilometre checkered tablecloth and the Piknic Electronik team will provide the music while a boatload of DJs sail back and forth along the Lachine Canal!
At dusk, the site will be converted into a “Cine-Parks” with a screening of the movie C.R.A.Z.Y.,
around 8 p.m..
Bring your lunch, we’ll provide the tablecloth!
This year, the event will take place south of the Atwater Market, between the Atwater pedestrian overpass and the Charlevoix Bridge (Lionel-Groulx or Charlevoix metro station).
Those arriving empty-handed can purchase snacks and beverages at one of the onsite stands.
