The sector extending from the Gauron and Lafleur bridges at LaSalle up to the entrance to the Lachine Canal is a peaceful area devoted to recreation and relaxation. You will be impressed by the CP-Rockfield Bridge. Unusually high for a swing bridge, it was built for the Canadian Pacific in 1915.
