Dominating the waterway, the crane stands like a monument symbolizing the interdependence between the waterway and industry. In the past, it was used for unloading coal arriving by boat to supply electricity for a factory. The crane will be restored and a lookout could be built on it, offering a spectacular view of the canal corridor.
