Class Visits to Green Gables

Visit the house and landscape that inspired Island author Lucy Maud Montgomery for the setting of her world famous book Anne of Green Gables. Your visit can include a short presentation on the history of the site and its connections to the author; a guided tour of Green Gables house; a viewing of our seventeen (17) minute biographical film on the author, A Celebration of Imagination: The Life of L. M. Montgomery; and time to explore exhibits on the cultural history of late 19th century Cavendish.
