Education Programs
Woodside was the home, during his formative years, of Canada's tenth and longest-serving prime minister William Lyon Mackenzie King. Beautifully restored to represent the early 1890s, the house brings the era of kerosene lamps, mangles, corsets, and wood stoves vibrantly to life.
Programs Offered : September to June, morning and afternoon
Program Cost : $3.95/person (10 persons minimum - by appointment)
Group Size:
- Minimum: 10 students
- Maximum: 32 students
All Programs:
- are curriculum-based help your students to achieve various learning outcomes
- are offered in either English or French
- come with pre/post-visit information packages that help to supplement your in-class activities
- are imaginative, educational, fun, and feature hands-on activities
Please Remember:
- we ask that you allow a full two hours for the program at Woodside. Please plan your transportation time accordingly
- bringing name tags for your students makes the visit much more enjoyable
- bookings can be made by calling or emailing Woodside from Tuesday to Saturday between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
