The Weather ... What to Expect

The weather in eastern Ontario is quite variable. Summers can be hot, sunny and humid. Winters can be severe with large accumulations of snow. Spring and autumn offer the most moderate weather conditions.

In the spring and autumn bring along a light jacket or sweater and always have comfortable footwear. Winter visitors should don a warm coat, hat and gloves while touring the fort's grounds.
