Welcome to Fenelon Falls, where we celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee on July 21st, 2012.
As boats exit Lock 34 more are waiting to lock through. Many boaters enjoyed the free lockage on the 21st of July for Lock 32, 33, 34, and 35.
The Queen herself paid a visit to Fenelon Falls, complete with a life size double to wave when she needed a rest.
Parks Canada staff show visitors around the Tug Trent, a 45 foot tug boat built in 1948.
Driving through Fenelon Falls motorists were greeted by UK flags and knew they arrived at Lock 34 when they saw the Parks Canada flags.
Many boats attended Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee festivities in Fenelon Falls to enjoy the new mooring space.
Plenty of boats wait at the blue line to go through Lock 34 in Fenelon Falls.
It was a very busy day for lock staff in Fenelon Falls on July 21st. Many enjoyed free lockage through locks 32 to 35.
Visitors flocked to Fenelon Falls to watch boats lock through all day; most were decorated to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
