Tug Trent Theatre

45 minute play:
Join us on a historical journey through time to experience the evolution of the Trent-Severn Waterway. From the original construction attempt of the lock at Bobcaygeon, to the controversy of location of where the canal should be built, the significance of the lumber industry’s growth and decline, the heightened rivalry of responsibility between the Dominion and the Province and concluding with the finishing of a magnificent tourist attraction, the Trent-Severn Waterway. This theatrical presentation of Heartland written by Ryan Kerr and Beau Dixon and performed by the Tug Trent Troop will trigger a rising of spirits like the raising of a lift lock. This play full of music, quick character changes, historical scandals and conflicts will provide entertainment for people of all ages. Come see us this summer along the Trent-Severn Waterway!

Prepare to be surprised with an unexpected theatre production! The Tug Trent Troop is at it again. Wherever there is an event along the Trent-Severn Waterway, wherever the Tug Trent makes an appearance, wherever unsuspecting crowds gather, we will be there!
