Ottawa

View from the water? Yes! Hang out on the Ottawa River near Parliament Hill to watch the fireworks.

The festivities take place on Parliament Hill, in downtown parks and on the streets. Witness the ceremonies, take in the musical talent from across the country, see the fireworks — and more!

Note: Access to Ottawa Locks will be closed to the public from 4 PM until the end of the fireworks.

Merrickville
Where: Blockhouse Park, Merrickville
When: Nite Shirt Parade, June 30th at 7 PM
Festivities and Fireworks, July 1st from 11:30 AM to 10 PM

Celebrate Canada Day early with the Nite Shirt Parade in Merrickville starting at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home and ending at the Blockhouse Park.

On Canada Day the festivities start with a parade from Hilltop Manor followed by a ceremony and Music in the Park at Blockhouse Park. The evening concludes at the Fairgrounds with music at 8 PM and fireworks at dusk.

Smiths Falls
Where: Lower Reach Park, Old Slys Rd. and Jasper St., Smiths Falls

Where: Off of Cow Island, Rideau Lakes

Westport
Where: Lions Club Beach
When: July 1st, 3 PM to 10 PM

The fun begins in Westport at 3 PM with a bicycle parade and then moves to the Lions Club Beach for an afternoon and evening of free fun for the entire family. At dusk there is a spectacular fireworks display.

Seeley's Bay
Where: Downtown, Fireworks at Centennial Park in Seeley's Bay

View from the water? Yes! Hang out in Seeley’s Bay and watch the fireworks!

Activities will be taking place throughout the village in celebration of Canada’s birthday with music, crafts, vendors, food and more! At dusk there is a spectacular fireworks display.


Kingston
Where: Downtown, Fireworks at Confederation Park
When: July 1st, 9 AM to 10 PM

Kingston Mills
View from the water? Yes! Hang out in the Kingston Harbour and watch the fireworks!

The Limestone Mile at 9 AM, People Parade at 11:30 AM and live music all day in Confederation Park ending with fireworks at 10 PM!
