Inverarden House National Historic Site of Canada

This site, just east of Cornwall, Ontario is an outstanding example of early 19th century Regency cottage domestic architecture in Canada. Inverarden House was built in 1816 for John McDonald, a prosperous fur trader, following his retirement from the North West Company.
