War of 1812 School of the Soldier
Fort George will host a training weekend for British, Canadian and American War of 1812 re-enactors from the Great Lakes region. Soldiers will bring the fort to life as they perform authentic drills and battle tactics from 200 years ago.

War has been declared! Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812. Events happening all weekend at Fort George and throughout the town of Niagara on the Lake.

2012 Brock Ball
Commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the War of 1812 with this exciting event. Presented by the Museum and held at Fort George, the Brock Ball attempts to recreate the dinner that we held the night War was declared. Guests will enjoy period décor, music, and a four course dinner catered by Queens Landing Hotel.
- Tickets are $200/ea. Period costume is encouraged but not mandatory (black tie otherwise).

Join us for Canada's birthday celebration. Activities at Fort George throughout the day and into the evening. Music, food, fireworks, musket and cannon firings!
Free admission to Fort George.
Saturday and Sunday, July 14 - 15
The Navy of 1812: Sailors on the Lakes
Naval encampment on the grounds of Navy Hall and Fort George, with 5 tall ships (4 Brigantines and a schooner-1812 Squadron) and 22 longboats with 200 naval re-enactors.
Plans call for:
- Longboat Processional Row (Saturday morning, July 14)
- assault landing exercise at Queens Royal Park (Saturday afternoon)
- evening tactical inside Fort George, plus
- many other activities happening throughout the day.

Fife & Drum Muster and Soldiers' Field Day
Come celebrate the 200th anniversary at Fort George. This weekend-long event is a pageant of military music by Fife and Drum corps from the United States and Canada as well as a competition of 1812 drill teams from Fort George, Fort Malden, Fort York and Fort Erie – a collection of the premier 1812 military sites in Ontario.
During this 14th year of the annual Muster and Field Day event, the 41st Regiment Fife and Drum corps will also be celebrating their 25th anniversary at Fort George. Come and experience the sights and sounds of the military garrison during the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812.

The Battle of Queenston Heights
Join us as hundreds of re-enactors from the United States and Canada will be faithfully re-enacting this famous battle that helped form the Nation of Canada.

The Burial of Brock
Funeral procession from Queenston to Fort George, followed by the commemoration of Brock's burial in Fort George.
