The area’s rich cultural mosaic is brought to life through the Historical Association of Annapolis Royal’s guided tour program. The association offers Candlelight Graveyard Tours, National Historic District Tours, Acadian Heritage Tours and customized tours. It also publishes Stroll through the Centuries, a self-guided walking tour brochure for visitors who prefer to explore at their own pace.

Fort Anne National Historic Site 323 St. George Street

Located in a circa 1764 farmhouse on one of the most historic roads in Canada, North Hills Museum features Georgian décor assembled by the late antiques collector Robert Patterson.
Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens 441 St. George Street
With ten acres of gardens, seven acres of reclaimed marshland and a fifty acre wildfowl sanctuary, the gardens enjoy a unique setting overlooking the wetlands and meadows of a tidal river valley.
Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site Route 8, Maitland Bridge
Keji is the only inland national park in the Maritimes. Around a 35-minute drive from Annapolis Royal, the park features abundant lakes and rivers ideal for camping, canoeing and kayaking.

Upper Clements Family Vacation Park Route 1, 6 km (3.5mi) west of Annapolis Royal
10 hectare (25 acre) park. Enjoy a variety of rides and attractions, including live theatre and a flume ride, carousel and roller coaster.
Upper Clements Wildlife Park Route 1, 8 km (5mi) west of Annapolis Royal
Displays of native Nova Scotian animals and the Queen's Royal Red Deer are set out along a curving forested trail in a natural setting. Included are lynx, cougar, porcupines, foxes, ground hogs, skunks, deer and moose. Nature trail.

Annapolis Basin Tidal Power exhibit At the Annapolis River causeway
Prototype installation demonstrates the generation of hydro-electric power from the Fundy tides - the only saltwater generating station in North America. Display of tidal-power plant operation and view of the tidal flow at the interpretive centre on-site.
