February 15, 2015 - Louisbourg Celebrates: Heritage Day
Come and enjoy a day of winter fun at our annual Heritage Day event, brought to you by the Fortress Louisbourg Association and Parks Canada.
Come celebrate our Canadian identity during this extra special Heritage Day dedicated to 50 years of the Canadian flag.
Fun for the whole family! Join us for a stimulating flag quiz, sing the national anthem during the raising of the flag like it was done for the first time 50 years ago and get some fresh air with our first ever played Capture the Flag game.
The day will include a campfire in the King's Bastion courtyard with marshmallow roasting and Heritage hot chocolate. Bring your picnic and your snowshoes. Audio-guided tours of the grounds will also be available.
Make sure to find out about our many exciting events coming up in 2015 at the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site, during the event.
