Site Management

As a federal government property, Grand-Pré National Historic Site of Canada is operated under the provisions of the National Parks Act, Regulations, the Historic Sites and Monuments Act, the Parks Canada Agency Act and Parks Canada's Guiding Principles and Operational Policies.

Parks Canada wishes to ensure public support and to make cooperative agreements that will facilitate the contribution of local communities, the Acadian community, and other organizations and individuals to the protection of the Site and the celebration of its history. To do this, Parks Canada administers Grand-Pré National Historic Site of Canada in collaboration with the Société Promotion Grand-Pré . The main goal of the Société Promotion Grand-Pré is to promote Acadian culture and history related to Grand-Pré.
