Visitor Interpretation Centre

While at Cape Spear National Historic Site of Canada, be sure to go to the Visitor Interpretation Centre and view the exhibits on lighthouse technology. Interpretive panels explain how lighthouses operated through the centuries. On display is a Fresnel lens with a cross section cut out so you can see inside the prisms.
