This program is a self-guided opportunity using a pamphlet, available at reasonable cost in the visitor centre's sales outlet. Visitors walk around the perimeter of the site's ramparts stopping at selected points to view the ecological aspects of the landscape surrounding the fort.

On site interpretive signs

The site uses a network of seven historic painting reproductions on a loop trail to give visitors an appreciation of garrison life in the Fort's heyday.
