Discover The Forks' hidden history!

Take a 6,000-year journey with a Parks Canada costumed interpreter and uncover what lies beneath your feet. Learn the fate of the four fur trading posts and hear the epic stories behind this meeting place. Through curious objects and colourful characters, the history of The Forks comes to life in this easy walking tour.

July 5 to August 31, Saturday and Sunday

High Tech History Hunts

Do you have what it takes to solve a history mystery at The Forks? Choose from two intriguing "cases":

  • Rails to Riches
  • Furs, Forts & Fast Food  

Using GPS technology and a self-guiding booklet, track down history at The Forks and locate a hidden geocache.

May 16 to June 30, Friday to Monday
10:00 am – 5:00 pm (last rental at 3:00 pm)

July 1 to September 1, Monday to Sunday
10:00 am – 5:00 pm (last rental at 3:00 pm)

Fee : $6.00 per kit (subject to change)

Join in the fun as a Parks Canada interpreter gets you involved in activities and games for you and your family!

Availability:
July 3 to September 1, Thursday to Monday
10:00 am, 12:00 noon, 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm

Meet at the main entrance of the Adventure Park. All programs are FREE!

Programs are 30 minutes long (weather permitting).
