Season Opening: Easter in June
Sunday, June 1st
Outdoor Easter egg hunts are a rare sight in the North, so join us for Easter in June at the Fort St. James National Historic Site to help us celebrate our 2014 season opening. The day will include a variety of activities including:
- FREE pancake breakfast
- Easter Egg hunt
- Mini Petting zoo with baby chicks, ducks, and bunnies
- Face painting
- Best Easter bonnet contest
- Music & vendors

Saturday, June 21 st
A day in honour and respect of our aboriginal partners.
Tuesday, July 1st
Small town festivities, a parade, music, fireworks, cake and horseback rides for kids.
July 19th & 20th Caledonia Days
A weekend full of music, food and fun celebrating the heritage of Fort St. James in all its multicultural magnificence.

July 19th Salmon Day
Join us for our Salmon Cook-Off where YOU get to be the judge.
July 20th Métis Day
We will be celebrating the significant contributions the Métis have made to Fort St. James and the fur trade. Come enjoy fiddlers & jiggers, have a smokie on us, win the pie-eating contest and get your own free heritage photo taken in our photo booth!
FREE ENTRY & BEEF DIPS
Sunday, September 21th
Our annual end-of-season “thank you” and celebration. Activities include free beef dips, rifle competition, 50/50 chicken race draw, a fierce tug-of-war competition, ice cream making demonstration and face painting for the kids.
