Fort Langley National Historic Site is situated in the heritage village of Fort Langley, British Columbia, just 45 minutes east of Vancouver. Stroll through artists' studios, bookstores, specialty shops and antique stores, and spend a relaxing day in its tree-lined streets and relaxed country atmosphere.

The village area has over eighty stores and restaurants, and is just a few blocks from the site. Other heritage attractions within walking distance of the site include the Langley Centennial Museum, the B.C. Farm Machinery & Agricultural Museum, and the 1915 CN Station. Fort Langley is set in a beautiful rural setting just north of Langley, a thriving urban centre. Within a fifteen-minute drive, you can explore shops, retail outlets, and a modern shopping mall in the downtown core. Or enjoy a drive in the country where you will find parks, golf courses, wineries, and farms in the "Horse Capital of B.C." Local farms offer a variety of fresh produce at roadside markets and u-pick fruit farms.
