Walk or bike the Fort-to-Fort trail, which connects Fort Langley National Historic Site to where the first Fort Langley stood from 1827-1839. Enjoy free entertainment and activities along the route, brought to you by Metro Vancouver Parks and Parks Canada. Ride into History

The Ride into History is a celebration of motorcycling and the history of BC at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. The Rally will include a fun ride, fantastic food and good times - all to support a great cause. See www.rideintohistory.ca for information and registration. Everyone is welcome to a concert on the evening of July 26 at 7 pm. The concert is open to all ages and families. Bring a chair and some friends and enjoy a great evening!


Brigade Days

August 3-5, 10 am - 5 pm

Visit with a large encampment of historic re-enactors as they swap stories, play music, and show off traditional skills such as musket firing and open fire cooking. The weekend features the "Arrival of the Fur Brigades" canoe re-enactment at 1 pm Monday. Regular admission, free for annual pass holders. Complete the weekend with a free concert featuring Tiller's Folly at 7 pm on August 5 inside the fort. Bring a chair and a picnic or purchase BBQ fare, fries & ice cream from The Full Barrel Café.

Explore the heritage garden and feed the farm animals at this authentic Hudson's Bay Company fort. Built in 1827, Fort Langley's workers operated a 2000-acre farm. Watch a barrel making demonstration, the container of choice for exporting butter and potatoes! Compete in the farm relay and watch farm-related demonstrations. Regular admission fees apply; free for annual pass holders.

Parks Canada and the Guyanese Canadian Cultural Association of BC invite you to celebrate BC's 155th birthday by experiencing the warmth of the Caribbean! Taste delicious food and hear a steel band performance. Douglas Day marks the day on November 19, 1858, when James Douglas proclaimed British Columbia a Crown Colony in Fort Langley's Big House.
