Gold Fever Birthday Party
Strike it rich as an 1858 gold prospector

Imagine you are a gold prospector during the 1858 Fraser River Gold Rush. Put on a gold miner's hat, sign a gold license, and head out to the gold panning station to see if you can strike it rich!
Features - Includes all-day site admission.
- 2-hour party includes the following guided activities with Parks Canada interpreter:
- Try on old-fashioned dress up clothes.
- Build a house and carry your supplies.
- Watch a blacksmithing demonstration.
- Pan for gold.
- Optional bonfire (roasting sticks provided; bring your own food)
- Use of party room and fridge
- Download invitations (PDF, 665 KB).

Birthday High Tea Party
Fancy high tea in Mrs. Newton’s parlour

Imagine your child and her friends having a fancy high tea in the Victorian setting of Mrs. Newton’s parlour in Fort Langley’s Big House. Nibble a spread of delightful high tea goodies catered by Tracycakes, and make a bracelet to take home.

- High tea refreshments catered by Tracycakes
- Make a bracelet to take home.
- Optional bonfire after program (roasting sticks provided; bring your own food)
- Use of Big House parlour for the high tea.

Cost
- $21.98 (including HST) per child, including catered high tea menu.
- Optimum group size: 6-8 children (minimum 6 required). Inquire about larger groups.
- Admission for adult chaperones is complimentary, excluding high tea catering.

Archaeology Adventure Birthday Party
What will you uncover?

Do you like to investigate? Gear up and see what you can excavate in a simulated archaeological dig. Discover what kinds of artifacts have been found at Fort Langley National Historic Site, and then participate in a “rock concert.”

Booking
To book a party, or for more information, contact the bookings coordinator at 604-513-4799, the Visitor Centre at 604-513-4777 or email us.
Payment
- Deposit of $25.00 is required at the time of booking. The balance is due at the beginning of the party. Refer to each party theme for specific costs.
- Cancellation received 14 days or more prior to the Birthday Party date are refundable. There are no refunds for cancellations with less than 14 days notice.
- Parents are admitted free, so we encourage adults to stay for the party. NOTE: Catering costs for parents are not included in the High Tea Party.
Guidelines
- We require a minimum of two to four parent chaperones.
- Outside food is permitted and we encourage you to bring your own hot dogs or marshmallows to cook over the bonfire. For catering, see the add-on features section.
- Pets and smoking are prohibited on site.
