A new season is beginning for the Coastal Naturalist Program is now complete. We’re looking forward to seeing you onboard BC Ferries this summer starting Friday, June 29!

Coastal British Columbia is home to remarkable natural and cultural diversity and beauty. Parks Canada and BC Ferries partner every summer to bring you the Coastal Naturalist program, where our engaging Coastal Naturalists host half-hour presentations on select sailings travelling the Vancouver-Victoria and West Vancouver-Nanaimo routes.
Our Coastal Naturalists inform and inspire by combining amazing facts, thrilling wildlife sightings and spectacular vistas into an unforgettable experience onboard the ferries. Discover places like Gulf Islands and Pacific Rim National Park Reserves, and learn about Species at Risk and our proposed National Marine Conservation Area along the way.
