Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites of Canada

The sites lie in the Gulf of Georgia Lowlands natural region.

The sub-Mediterranean climate supports Garry Oak meadows and Arbutus trees.

Fort Rodd Hill is home to Columbian blacktail deer, grey squirrels, raccoons and bird species too numerous to mention.

The waters around Fisgard Lighthouse are frequented by harbour seals and the occasional sea lion.
