Trappers, Trade and Tipis

Step back in time as you enter the Métis Trapper’s Tent. Toast bannock over an open fire, try your hand at some traditional games and listen to the ancestral stories of members of the Métis Nation of Alberta. Make your own history with an overnight stay in a tipi along the North Saskatchewan River at Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site.
