Impacts on the Atlantic Parks

In Atlantic Canada, the magnitude of the expected change is less than in other parts of the country. Nonetheless, our Atlantic region parks are vulnerable to a rise in sea level. This is a serious threat to the piping plover, an endangered shorebird species found on the beaches of Prince Edward Island National Park of Canada.
