L'histoire des femmes - Références photographiques

The Letter W omen's participation has often been manifested through collective action. This has focused attention on women's organizations, social reform, community life and the family. Often, women's interests were integrated into other movements, communities, ethnic groups and classes where women played a key, but not always leading role. Although many National Historic Sites of Canada speak to both men's and women's experiences in the past, much remains to be done to address adequately the importance of women to Canadian history.
