Itinerary for Jasper Raven Totem Pole Repatriation Tour:
Vancouver to Old Massett (Haida Gwaii)
In May 2010, the Jasper Raven Totem Pole will begin its tour from Vancouver to Old Massett (Haida Gwaii) undertaking a series of educational and outreach stops in urban and rural communities.
The Raven totem pole will return to Jasper in mid June, 2010. On June 16, the community of Jasper will bid a fond farewell to the totem pole as it leaves the town for the final time and commences the final stage of its journey back to Masset for the final repatriation ceremony on June 21, 2010.
Please join Parks Canada and Haida interpreters at the following locations to say a personal farewell to this outstanding totem pole and to wish it well on its long journey home.
