Minister Kent Launches First Episode of “Operation Unplugged” TV Series

Toronto, Ontario, February 17, 2012 -- The Honourable Peter Kent, Canada’s Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, today launched the first episode of Operation Unplugged, and introduced the cast and host of this exciting new TV documentary-adventure series. This new Parks Canada youth initiative follows a group of young Canadians who give up their personal techno-gadgets, and experience incredible adventures in the wild of Canada’s national parks and historic sites.
