Special events will provide enhanced experiences and unique opportunities for visitors to personally connect with Parks Canada’s National Parks and National Historic Sites in Newfoundland and Labrador.
24–25 September - Relive the Battle for Placentia at Castle Hill National Historic Site
Come celebrate Parks Canada’s 100th birthday with a bang at Castle Hill National Historic Site in Placentia! Experience the excitement and energy of battle as French and British military interpreters present a series of tactical drills. Visit a historic military encampment and experience the daily life of a soldier from the 18th century.
