What a summer it's been!

As fall nears, many of our seasonal staff will be leaving and we'll be closing the Clear Lake East End Boat Launch on August 27, 2017 in order to continue to prevent aquatic invasive species from being introduced to Clear Lake. You'll be able to launch your watercraft (after a mandatory inspection has been completed) at the Clear Lake Boat Cove.

Heads up watercraft operators! Did you know that watercraft inspections are now available in Riding Mountain National Park? All motorized and non-motorized watercraft entering park waters are required to undergo a free inspection for aquatic invasive species (AIS) such as zebra mussels. They will be issued a permit by Parks Canada watercraft inspectors. Permits and decals issued in 2016 are no longer valid, a new inspection is required. If visitors launch their watercraft outside of RMNP, your permit is no longer valid and you must have your watercraft re-inspected. The cooperation of watercraft operators is essential in preventing this threat to park waters.
