Fort Espérance National Historic Site
Fort Espérance is based in eastern Saskatchewan, just 20 minutes from the border of Manitoba. The site is located off highway 600 between Spy Hill and Rocanville, 127 km from Yorkton and 168 km from Brandon, Manitoba. Plan to spend around an hour at the site, exploring the remains of the cellar and fireplace and walking the depressions which show where both incarnations of this once-important fort stood.
