Highway 10, Exit 22

Chambly Access (downstream)
Locks No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3:
1751, Bourgogne Avenue, J3L 1Y8

Follow directions towards Chambly

Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Access (upstream)
Lock No. 9: 327 Champlain Street, J3B 6W2

Take Highway 35, Exit 7. Continue to Champlain St. The canal will be in front of you then turn right to reach Lock No. 9.

By Bus

From downtown terminus (Montreal) or Longueuil terminus to Chambly

The inter-municipal board of transport of Chambly, Richelieu, and Carignan (CITCRC) offers a bus service between Montreal/Longueuil and Chambly. There is a bus stop near canal Locks No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 at the corner of De Bourgogne St. and Du Fort St.

The Chambly Canal’s multi-purpose path is part of Route verte 1. It is accessible via Route verte 2 in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The multi-purpose path along the Chambly Canal links the Montée du Fort-Chambly to the Montérégiade and the Vallée-des-Forts bike paths.
