October 6, 7, 8, 2017 Christchurch, New Zealand Marc-André Bernier, Head of the Underwater Archeology Team, will be joining the Antarctic Heritage Trust with the Canterbury Museum. A public lecture with a presentation by Marc-André is scheduled for Saturday, October 7 from 1:30 pm – 2:30pm.
October 9, 2017 Canberra Australia Listen to ABC Radio’s interview with Marc-André Bernier today and then join him for a public lecture at Questacon’s Japan Theatre, King Edward Terrace from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
October 10, 2017 Sydney, Australia The Australian National Maritime Museum Theatre is hosting an educational talk with Marc-André Bernier from 10:30 am – 11:30 am followed by a video conference with schools from 2 pm-3 pm. July 6 to October 30 2017 Bruce Peninsula National Park, Tobermory Ontario Bruce Peninsula National Park will have the Franklin Exploration pop-up exhibition on display in the Visitor Centre from July 6th to the end of October.
Aug 17 to Oct 16, 2017 Halifax, Nova Scotia As part of the Franklin Museum Network programming, the HMS Erebus Wreck Site Model will be on display at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. We challenge you to come and see how many key features you can identify on the model!
September 8 to December 27, 2017 Sept-Îles, Québec The Musée Régional de la Côte-Nord will have The Franklin Exploration pop-up exhibition.
October 12, 2017 11 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. Greenwich, London, UK The National Maritime Museum hosts Park Canada’s underwater archaeologist, Ryan Harris as part of their Maritime Lecture Series. The museum features their Franklin exhibit Death in the Ice until January 7, 2018.
