How to Get There
Parks Canada Discovery Centre

Access from the Niagara Peninsula via the QEW
Take the QEW and Exit at Burlington Street once you are in Hamilton.
Travel past the Stelco industrial complex watching for the wayfinding signage.
John Street is the signpost that James Street will be coming up soon.
Turn Right at James Street and follow it until it ends at Guise Street.
Turn Right at Guise Street
Turn Left at Discovery Drive (Turn at the mast).
If arriving from Toronto via the 403
Follow Highway 403 to the York Boulevard Exit.
Follow York Boulevard to James Street. Turn Left on James Street and follow until it ends at Guise Street.
Turn Right at Guise Street
Turn Left at Discovery Drive (Turn at the mast).

- Parks Canada Discovery Centre provides ample free parking.
Viewpoints
- Parks Canada Discovery Centre is located on Pier 8, Hamilton Harbour. The Hamilton Waterfront Trail runs around the perimeter of the site joining up with HMCS Haida National Historic Site and the Waterfront Trail System. Trails provides opportunities for walking, biking and rollerblading.
