Introduction

In the following learning activity, students will be taken on a scientific expedition to explore the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park.

The three main objectives are as follows:

1. Discover some of the life forms of this estuary
2. Identify certain problems that are endangering this environment
3. Propose potential solutions to protect these waters, a whole world overflowing with life, here and now.

The "Water, an Environment to Protect" activity comprises three sections:

1. The Water Column
2. The St. Lawrence Beluga
3. Take Action!
