Browser and Plug-in Requirements

Plug-ins Required:

The majority of the content on our site is presented in XHTML 1.0 Strict pages.  In some sections, however, the following plug-ins may be required for full functionality:

PDF Reader

You can view documents in PDF format by using Acrobat Reader, which is available for free from Adobe.

Adobe also provides a conversion service that will convert Adobe PDF files to HTML or text. This service is available for files in English and French.

Word, WordPerfect, Rich Text and Text Reader

You can view documents in Word format by using the Microsoft Word Viewer, which is available for free from Microsoft.

You can also view Rich Text files by using your default text reader (MS Word, Wordperfect or Notepad).  If you use a Macintosh, you can access these files with the free Open Office download.

PowerPoint Reader

You can view documents in PowerPoint format by using Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer, which is available for free from Microsoft. If you use a Macintosh, you can access these files with the free Open Office download.

Flash Player

You can view animation and specific sites in Flash format by using the Adobe Flash Player, which is available for free from Adobe.

Microsoft Media Player

You can view film and video or listen to sounds by using Microsoft Windows Media Player software, which is available for free from Microsoft.

QuickTime

You can access files with audio and video content by using QuickTime, which is available for free from Apple.

iSite 3D Renderer

To access the 3D Tours, you must have the Flash Player as well as the iSite 3D Renderer (for Windows Internet Explorer 5.5, FireFox 1.5 to 2.11 and Netscape 7 and up).

Axis Media Control

You can view webcams by using the Axis Media Control software, which is available for free from Axis Communications.
